OUR STORY

OVER THE YEARS

Quality Building Solutions was founded by Tod Hawkins, who moved to Northwest Arkansas from the Oklahoma panhandle with the vision of establishing a construction business that fabricated red-iron frames. At the time, red-iron frames were usually ‘welded-up’ and although technology has progressed since then, hard work and dedication to a quality product are still at the heart of the company.

2005

Quality Building Systems purchases industry-leading software and programming, which allows the company to start fabricating and erecting pre-engineered, bolt-up buildings.

2007

Chris Unruh joins Quality Building Systems as an estimator with over 10 years of experience in steel building and components sales.

2018

After becoming a manager at Quality Building Systems, Chris assumes ownership of the business. His unwavering commitment to the fabrication process and quality workmanship continue to be an integral part of the company as QBS delivers structures of the highest standard to its clients year after year.

2021

Quality Building Systems grows internally and expands its facility. The company adds top talent and manpower to its shop, office, and field crews.

2022

Quality Building Systems lands several large-scale development permits, breaks ground on a new fabrication shop, and expands its operations.
